It may be ice water that ends up thawing the currently chilly relationship between Jon Bon Jovi and his former Bon Jovi bandmate and songwriting partner Richie Sambora.
JBJ called out Sambora, as well as Tico Torres and David Bryan, when he passed the challenge along.
Sambora, Bryan and Torres are all original members of Bon Jovi, but Sambora has been estranged from the band since parting ways in April of 2013.

At an April 2, 2013, concert in Calgary, fans were informed by an announcement over the venue’s PA system that Sambora wouldn’t be with the band that night, and maybe for a long time. Jon Bon Jovi reportedly said, “I had two choices – pack up and go home or give you everything I got. Richie Sambora won’t be performing for a while. If there’s ever a night I need you, it’s tonight, Calgary.”
Session guitarist Phil X, who also filled in for Sambora when he missed a string of shows in 2011 for a rehab stint, has been performing with the band ever since. The band have yet to release an album without Sambora.
