Jon Bon Jovi recently told CBS News that he hasn’t talked to his former bandmate Richie Sambora in nearly three years, but that didn’t stop Sambora from taking to social media to congratulate Jon and the other members of the band on the release of their new single “This House is Not For Sale.”

Sambora is currently on tour and recording a solo album with fellow musician and girlfriend, Orianthi, and he couldn’t look any happier in the congratulatory video posted to his official Twitter account.
While Bon Jovi didn’t exactly slam his ex-bandmate in the interview, he did point out Sambora’s lack of professionalism. “He just didn’t show up for work anymore,” JBJ told CBS News. “And that’s the truth of the matter. And, you know, life goes on,” he said. “You know, being in a rock band is not a life sentence… you have other things in your life that you care to do. But it’s okay, because you share your art as long as you choose to share it. You know, you don’t have to do this for a living — you choose to do it for a living.”
Sambora has clearly chosen to continue to share his art, and Jon Bon Jovi says, via tweet, that he can’t wait to hear his new record.
New guitarist Phil X joined in on the lovefest, and thanked Richie Sambora and Orianthi for the kind words as well.
Is there hope for a Sambora-Bon Jovi reunion?
